Initially, POVVIK provided consulting and design services exclusively in the field of water supply and wastewater treatment, which is reflected in the Bulgarian abbreviation used for its name. The expansion of the range of the company’s activities followed the company’s second registration in 1992. Since then, POVVIK has gradually expanded its portfolio of services to include environmental assessment, waste management and landfill design, renewable energy, economic analyses, audits and due diligence studies, as well as large national and international projects in the sustainable development field.
