Environmental Audits and Due Diligence Studies

POVVIK performs environmental, social and governance studies and due diligence of new or existing industrial or other sites or businesses on request by international financial institutions (e.g. IFC, EBRD, EIB) or by private clients. These services are aligned with the requirements of the IFIs but also aligned with the recent requirements for implementation of the ESG reporting principles aiming to achieve sustainable growth in the organization and at the same time to protect environment, nature and human wellbeing. These types of audits often comprise of full diligence studies of the environmental, health and safety, social and stakeholder issues associated with the activities of the clients and their respective compliance with the Lenders’ rules, requirements and policies. Often, in the frame of these services POVVIK elaborates action plans or provide measures aiming at achieving compliance with the IFIs or ESG principles and requirements. These types of assessments are among the most difficult and responsible complex studies and are often performed under strict confidentiality.
